This is IMA’s third annual tour visiting manufacturing facilities, colleges and community centers to highlight job opportunities and the industry’s widespread economic contributions. Craig Industries has been selected as a stop on this celebratory tour.

The Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA) and the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC) will celebrate Manufacturing Month throughout the month of October with “Makers on the Move,” a statewide bus tour that will visit manufacturing facilities, educational institutions and community centers across Illinois to spotlight career opportunities and highlight the industry’s widespread economic contributions.
The “Makers on the Move” bus tour features a fully wrapped 56-foot bus that will travel 2,500 miles to nearly every region of the state, making roughly 40 stops along the way. Industry advocates traveling on the bus will be accompanied by educators, economic development leaders, public officials and other dignitaries. Last April, Enviro Buildings, a brand of Craig Industries, made waves by reaching the final four manufacturers in the 2024 Illinois Manufacturers Association’s prestigious “Makers Madness” competition. Competing for the title of the coolest thing manufactured in Illinois, Enviro Buildings showcased its innovative product line, Mod Box. This recognition underscores the forward-thinking approach of Mod Box, which offers versatile, eco-friendly solutions for modern construction needs. The achievement highlights not only the ingenuity of Mod Box but also the strength and adaptability of Illinois-based manufacturing.
Craig Industries’ other brand, U.S. Cooler, also made a strong showing in the 2023 competition by entering its popular product, the Brew Cave. The Brew Cave advanced to the final eight, demonstrating the brand’s expertise in delivering innovative and high-quality refrigeration solutions. This achievement further highlights Craig Industries’ commitment to excellence across its diverse product lines.
